These weapons are designed to defeat military armoured fighting vehicles, by either destroying its ability to move (known as mobility kill or M-kill), destroying its firepower capability (known as firepower kill or F-kill), or by reducing its ability to fight completely (known as catastrophic kill or K-kill). This last method may entail disabling the weapon system(s) or crew, or the complete destruction of the tank. Examples of anti-tank weapons include grenades, anti-tank guns, High Explosive Anti-Tank (HEAT) weapons, anti-tank mines and wire-guided missiles.
